Hajipir Wali Dargah-Kutch

Haji Pir Dargah is a unique identity of Kutch Gujarat. Haji Pir Dargah is from where Pakistan border is shown. Pir which is the real name of Haji Ali Akbar. Ali Akbar was a soldier shahabuddin Ghori. The faith and aesthetic view of Haji Pir is most famous in all over India as well in out of Gujarat. The foundation of Haji Pir Dargah is by Muslim Saint Haji was the army soldier. After he has left the service in army he settled in village “Nara” and started to service people there. After the Haj performance this place is known as Haji Pir or Zinda Pir. Lots of people arrived here for their wishes. People worship Haji Pir Dargah and then proceed towards to Karol Pir along from 4 miles away.

This culture and Historical Pir is closer to India and Pakistan. This Holy place attracts all people from Pakistan. Many Bollywood Actor and Actress visit here for their Prayer and their takes. After many politician debates for Lord Ram there is “Ramkatha” programmed organize together with Hindus and Muslims. Because of the faith in people they walked on fire Coal by believing that their wishes will come true. Haji Pir also visited by tourists and Foreigners. This kind of superstitions is also there in people.

From Bhuj, 125 km away, buses go to Narayan Sarovar twice a day (morning and evening). However, that is the only public transportation available. Koteshwar Temple is a mere 2 km from Narayan Sarovar, on the coast, but visitors to Lakhpat (28 km further) or Narayan Sarovar Wildlife Sanctuary (15 km) will need a private vehicle; this can only be hired in Bhuj. Prices for hired cars range from Rs. 5.50/- per km to Rs. 10/- per km depending on the type of vehicle and whether or not it has AC. Unless you only want to visit the Narayan Sarovar lake and temples, hiring a car in Bhuj is recommended. Accomodation and food are available in Narayan Sarovar, but not in any of the other three sites (except the gurudwara in Lakhpat.) Visitors to the wildlife sanctuary should bring their own food and water.
